Welcome to Surfside Estates! We are so glad to have you as part of our neighborhood. 

The information below is provided to help you learn more about what to expect as a home or property owner in our neighborhood. We are a unique POA and only governs roadways, water, and boat ramp access. There are no CCRs or security, so if you have an emergency or complaint about a neighbor, please call local authorities.

When are the annual fees due and how much are they?
Each year, fees are due on February 15th. Invoices are sent via email for the calendar fiscal year (Jan-Dec).Lot with home, plus water fees are $550.00Lot only fees are $150.00. Please note that the POA will invoice monthly for water overages exceeding 5,000 gallons of usage. 

Monthly Water Overage Billing Table:
Zero to 5,000 Gallons is included in the annual fee.
5001 to 11,999 Gal. = $8.00 per 1,000 Gal.
12,000 Gal. and over = $25.00 per 1,000 Gal.

How will I be invoiced and How can I pay?
We use Quick Books to invoice through email and you can pay annual dues and monthly water overages online. 
If you are a NEW HOMEOWNER please email us at surfsidehoa17@gmail.com and include your billing email, name, address, and phone number with us to avoid late fees. Sometime realtors do not share this information and any late fees will still apply to the account. 


Where can I find more information on the by-laws and annual fees?
Please see our by-laws and road/water/lot policies under the "Forms" page for the most up to date information. Surfside Estates POA governs roadways, water access, and boat ramp access for the neighborhood. We do not govern housing CCR. 

How can I get involved in the POA?
The annual POA meeting calendar is attached under Forms. We meet monthly and you are welcome to attend the meetings for more information! 

How can I get water installed on my lot?
There is an impact fee to install water on lots and to repair the roadways after construction of your home is completed. Please email use at surfsidehoa17@gmail.com with your lot number and address to confirm the impact fee for your lot. Currently, the impact fee is $15,000. Once this invoice is paid you will be provided a letter to take to the county. They will give you a form that you return to the POA. Once that form is returned we will turn access on. 

How can a new homeowner get a boat ramp key?
FOR NEW HOMEOWNERS: Please fill out the "Boat Ramp Access Card Application" and email us at surfsidehoa17@gmail.com
FOR LOST OR REPLACEMENT CARDS: Please fill out the "Boat Ramp Access Card Application" and email it to us at surfsidehoa17@gmail.com. You will be invoiced $25.00 and you can pay online. Once the invoice is paid the new card will be mailed to the address provided.
